A Lesson in Success from Mickey Mouse

Walt Disney heard “no” from virtually every person he talked to. They said his idea of a cartoon about a mouse was absolutely ridiculous. As a matter of fact, he was turned down by 302 bankers before he found someone who would fund his vision.

Just imagine the loss that millions of children and adults around the world would have experienced if Walt Disney had not believed in his dream enough to keep playing the numbers.

You will never achieve anything of great significance if you’re not willing to consistently play the numbers — and do what it takes to make sure that your numbers stay consistent. The Bible says, “Ask and it shall be given to you.” But it goes a bit further by saying, “Seek and ye shall find” and “Knock and it shall be opened unto you.”

This is a powerful principle for success in anything you do. Think about it: If you consistently ask enough people, if you are constantly seeking out new opportunities, and if you are willing to knock on enough doors, then eventually doors will open, you will find the right opportunities, and you will achieve the results you desire.
